Hard to Bard - Where are we - OK here we are now

Re-Cap

Arcane Fire are the Biggest Band in the Realm

Just headlining a newly built Knebworth Festival

But during their concert they are attacked by all the people they have betrayed, backstabbed, ridden over, lied and cheated to.

So they use their one and only wish to get out of there.

With a bright flash the band are teleported out Knebworth

They start seeing a clearing, but where

They start seeing the formation of others around them, but who

Oh Boy

In the Clearing

The characters start materialising in a clearing, they see a girl in the centre of the clearing as five other shapes start forming out of light.

As the forms take shape it is revealed that a half-elf girl is in front of every one and they seem to have materialised around her.

She screams in fright and faints, swooning to the ground.

Hydrica and Heironymo spot each other, but then notice that the other members of the band are not here, but in their place are similar but different people.

The others in the circle are:
  • a Goblin
  • an Orc
  • an Aasimar
  • a Human

All looking very bemused and shell shocked and also wandering what just happened and where are we?

The Goblin, Aasimar and Orc rush over to the girl who wakes up screaming at the sight of these creatures looming over her, such ruffians.

With still a stunned look on everyones faces two tieflings appear in the middle of everyone, the half elf girl faints again with a shriek.

They ignor the girl on the ground.

The female of the two has black hair worn in pigtails, and her face and horns are adorned with elaborate silver jewelry encrusted with blood-red sapphires and wearing a purple dress made of luxurious silk. She announces "well that was a fun ride, but can see we are all here safe and sound"

Hydrica and Heironymo exclaim that everything is defiantly NOT all right and that all of the band are not here

A deep voice runs through everyones head, the voice seems to come from the male, but oddly directly inside each person. He wears a crimson scarf over the lower half of his face and a sort of crown/headband on his head.
"Look around I count the same if not more people that were in the band.
A Dragonborn - Check
A Tortle - Check
A Goblin - Check
A Human - Check
An Orc - Check?
An Aasimar - Check?
OK we may have picked up a few extras, but no harm no foul"

There is some arguments about not all Goblins and Humans are the same and look alike.
No they are not sure where the others ended up, but "it will be fine" is assured.

The "not the band" introduce themselves to Hydrica and Heironymo and the two Tieflings

The Tieflings introduce themselves to the "not the band" as the Mafisto Twins, Orianna (She/Her) and Mordakai (He/Him).

So we have now:
  • Hydrica, a Dragonborn Bard from the college of Swords
  • Heironymo, a Tortle Monkard, a Bard from the Spirits college and a Harmony Monk
  • Sister, a Goblin Music Cleric
  • Lemmog, a Orc Cantor Paladin
  • Ekam, a Aasimar Protector Bardlock, a Bard from the college of Glamour and Celestrial Pact of the Bell Warlock
  • Immith Chargoba, a Human Hornblower Fighter
Oh and the half elf on the ground...

After much negotiations, persuasions and deceptions the "not the band" sign up to be part of the band.
Some parts of the contract were tweeked for certain members, but in the end everyone signed and everyone got a new toy as a signing bonus, which oddly they became instantly attuned to.

Exclaim the new band members with their new toys, the new members and old get their instruments branded with the Arcane Fire logo, Lemmog unfortunately opted for his chainmail to be branded and ended up with the brand also imprinted on his chest to much pain.

Then just as quickly the Mafisto Twins disappear.

Sister, a Goblin Music Cleric

She selected a Violin from the three available and ended up with the:

Violin and Bow of Violence

A two part Wondrous item, legendary (both parts require attunement)
A beautiful Violin with burnt in runic inscriptions, with a violin bow attached to the underside, crafted in forgotten times by the Gnomes

Violin of Violence
Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement)
Is a beautiful Violin with burnt in runic inscriptions, crafted in forgotten times by the Gnomes. It functions as a normal violin except:
  • The body of the violin is reinforced, and includes a longer, reinforced neck so it may be swung like a club.
  • When wielded as a weapon it magically plays music, the more violently you fight, the more epic the music becomes.
  • It also has the side-effect of causing you and your allies who listen to the music to get the urge to be a little more violent in combat than you would otherwise be.
You and your allies gain an attack bonus equal to your Charisma Modifier while using the instrument as a weapon
Weapon Damage: Magical Bludgeoning 1d6 + Strength Modifier + Charisma modifier

Violin Bow of Violence
Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement)
Is a beautiful Violin Bow with burnt in runic inscriptions, crafted in forgotten times by the Gnomes. It functions as a normal violin Bow except:
  • The tip and back length of the violin bow is bladed. Designed by gnomes, the blades are retractable, to protect the musician while it is being played as an instrument.
  • You gain an attack bonus equal to your Modifier while using the violin bow as a weapon
  • It is classed as a Martial Weapon Rapier
Weapon Damage: Magical Slashing 1d6 + Charisma modifier

Both parts are also cursed with two curses
I am so lonely
Cursed items even if they do not state they require attunement, they take an attunement slot.

If you are not within 10ft of your item the "I am so lonely" effect is felt

A "I am so lonely" player has disadvantage on Constitution checks and saving throws, and their movement speed decreases by 5 feet.

The DM rolls 1d4 or chooses one of the following depending on the source of this condition. The player gains disadvantage on

  1. Athletics checks on a 1,
  2. Acrobatics checks on a 2,
  3. Stealth on a 3.
  4. On a 4, the DM rerolls the first d4, as well as an additional d4, following the above rules.
If the item is returned to them and in their hand, the effect goes.

At the end of a long rest, if the item is still not with them, the player may attempt a DC 12 Constitution saving throw at the end of each long rest, on a failed save they gain a level of exhaustion.

I’m Just a Jealous Guy
If someone else uses your instrument, you become enraged and will instigate a fight with them, regardless of how powerful they are or if they were friendly.

The fight lasts until:
  • You have your instrument back and they have apologies for the slight, or
  • You are incapacitated

Ekam, a Aasimar Protector Bardlock, a Bard from the college of Glamour and Celestrial Pact of the Bell Warlock

Bell Branch

Source: Tasha's Cauldron of Everything

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a druid or warlock)

This silver implement is shaped like a tree branch and is strung with small golden bells. The branch is a spellcasting focus for your spells while you hold it.

The branch has 3 charges, and it regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. You can use the charges in the following ways while holding it:
  • As a bonus action, you can expend 1 charge to detect the presence of aberrations, celestials, constructs, elementals, fey, fiends, or undead within 60 feet of you. If such creatures are present and don't have total cover from you, the bells ring softly, their tone indicating the creature types present.
  • As an action, you can expend 1 charge to cast Protection from Evil and Good.
Cursed with both the I am so lonely and I’m Just a Jealous Guy curses.

Immith Chargoba, a Human Hornblower Fighter

Horn of Conjuration - Gregg’s bugle

Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement by a creature proficient with a wind instrument)

A horn of conjuring is a powerful magical horn, superior to an ordinary horn in every way.

A creature that attempts to play the horn without being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 psychic damage.

The horn can be used as a spellcasting focus.

You can use an action to play the horn and cast one of its spells. Once the horn has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spells use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC. Your spellcasting ability is Charisma if you don’t already have one.

You can play the horn while casting a spell that causes any of its targets to be deafened on a failed saving throw, thereby imposing disadvantage on the save. This effect applies only if the spell has a verbal or a material component.

Spells: find steed, sending, thunderwave, create food and water (sausage rolls and tea only), summon shadowspawn

Cursed with both the I am so lonely and I’m Just a Jealous Guy curses.

Lemmog, a Orc Cantor Paladin

Wand of Vocal Wyrding

Wand, legendary

A wand of vocal wyrding is a magical item that channels specific words, called wyrding words, to produce spell effects based on the word spoken.

This wand has 10 charges, and regains 1d8 + 2 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand crumbles into ashes and is destroyed.

Whenever a wyrding word is spoken within 10 feet of the wand, it casts a spell (spell save DC 16, +8 to spell attack) specific to that word without requiring components or concentration, and consumes a number of charges equal to the spell’s level. The spell fails if there are not enough charges to consume. The spell is cast at a random target or area unless a creature holding the wand uses an action to direct it at a target of their choice.

Wyrding Words. Any word in any language can be a wyrding word. They are rare and unpredictable, as only some words carry the specific sounds that are equivalent to material effect, and they are only revealed as wyrding words when spoken within 10 feet of a wand of vocal wyrding. Such words can be discovered through research, teaching, or trial-and-error.

A wyrding word replicates the effect of a single spell, and consumes a number of charges equal to that spell’s level.

Cursed with the I am so lonely curse

But what about the girl

Sister and Ekam approach her, with Lemmog staying back as he is kinda unkempt and unwashed

The rest are still just wondering where they hell they are.

Mistyngael Moonshadow exclaims quite obviously that you are near Férie.

Before she can explain more the party is ambushed by five goblins with bloodshot eyes who speak in rhyme and sing-song voices. Mistyngael runs to the strongest character and hides behind them.

As the battle ensues the corpses of the goblins are strewn around the clearing. on searching them they find a message sticking out of a pocket. In Sylvan, and as luck would have it one of the party can understand and read Sylvan, the message reads: “kill her, and kill any meddlers too.”

Ominous

Thanking the band for saving her life, Mistyngael is a lot more friendly and forthcoming

"You are in Nevernever part of the Feywild and I was heading to Férie.  Férie is a cosmopolitan town near Richester famous for its cabaret shows and luxury fashion houses and home to a thriving art scene. It is a city of romance, a fashion mecca, and a garden of earthly delights for nearly all kinds of sensual pursuits.
Competition is cutthroat in Férie’s entertainment industry.
The cabarets jostle for a dwindling market and are continually innovating and reinvigorating their shows to appeal to audiences old and new.
I am off to the the Red Hollyphant Theater, the home of the Red Hollyphant cabaret."

Ekam, Lemmog and Sister in unison state they will escort her safely to the theatre.

The band pass a tree advertising the Red Hollyphant’s newest show, Hollyphant Love Medley. The small print on the poster states that the cabaret is looking for adventurers as extras.

Hydrica and Heironymo look at each other and then shrug and follow.

Spectacular, Spectacular!

The Red Hollyphant

The band and Mistyngael arrive at the Red Hollyphant.

A red Hollyphant statue rears in front of the building, trumpeting triumphantly to the sky. There is a garden but for now, the band enter the Grand Theater.

Curved, undulating lines rise into arches adorned with gold leaf. Ornate dining tables and chairs are evenly spaced out on the carpeted floor.

There is a bar and kitchen, and a giant crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling. Red velvet curtains frame the stage where a dress rehearsal is taking place.

The Master of Ceremonies, Olar Zidd a half-orc is directing the rehearsal. Standing next to them is Vio Timmery, the human playwright who wrote the script for the cabaret’s latest show. Mistyngael introduces the band to Olar and Vio.

Olar greets the characters with gusto. They ask the band to tell him a bit about themselves and their talents.

A tall and imposing redhead, Olar wears a jet-black top hat and similarly coloured tailcoat.

The band state they saved Mistyngael's life and have escorted her safely here, informing Olar of the death note the goblins had.

Hydrica and Heironymo state they are the world famous band "Arcane Fire"

With which Olar is perplexed, and simply states perhaps where you are from you are famous, but here we have not heard of you...yet

But I am fair and where are my manners, would you care to join the Red Hollyphant, I treat everyone as if they were my own family.

I wish I can keep us all going and that the good times will roll again.

With that he calls over Vio and tells him to take the band on  a brief tour of the Red Hollyphant, then exits the Grand Theater for a break form work.

Vio has an earnest, innocent-looking face, a youth fresh in the flower of adulthood. He is shy and pleasant, almost bashful, and idealistic. Once he puts pen to paper, he won’t stop.

Vio shows the band the rest of the theater including the parts of the stage and the bar, the garden, and the dressing rooms. When the tour is complete, Vio introduces the band to the rest of the theater company.

A few of the band notice that Vio is in love with Mistyngael. Vio looks longingly at Mistyngael, his eyes lighting up every time she glances over to his general direction, but she is cold and distant to him. After Mistyngael is done chatting with the performers, she exits to the garden.

Vio’s eyes follow her longingly.

After some persuasive chat Vio tells the band the following:
  • The Red Hollyphant is nearly bankrupt.
  • Due to reduced consumer demand for cabaret shows and intense competition, revenue is shrinking and the Red Hollyphant is barely breaking even.
  • The situation is so bad that Olar has decided to sell the Red Hollyphant to Salabert Brothers, a boutique private equity firm notorious for its brute force cost-cutting measures.
  • Olar is a good boss and the performers love working for them.
  • The people of the Red Hollyphant are reluctant to part ways with Olar but accept that circumstances are dire.
Vio will leave the stage and sit at a dining table to write his next script. The band are led to the stage by six performers to rehearse their scenes. The other performers will leave the stag.

Practice makes perfect

The band are standing on the stage with six performers.

The 45-by-90-foot stage is clear of stage props and sets.

The backdrop is an artist’s impression of a grassy plain set against gently rolling hills.

The wings of the stage are hidden by curtains made of heavyweight velour.

Tall, narrow drapes made of the same material frame the sides of the stage facing the audience.

The stage is brightly lit except for the areas behind the curtains which are dark and shadowy.

The performers with the band specialize in circus arts, singing, dancing, or playing music. They will train the band and help them rehearse. These performers are:
  • Lia, a singer
  • Yuri, a musician
  • Machado, a circus arts performer who is also a dancer
  • Xu, a magician
  • Dom, an animal trainer
  • Joey, a clown
The different band member practice and show off their stage fighting, singing, dancing, acrobatics, playing, well just generally putting on a show for the performers.

Suddenly, sandbags fall upon the band and the remaining performers in the centre of the stage.

Two of the band are knocked prone and hurt by the sandbags.

Four Darklings suddenly attack the band and performers from behind the full cover of the curtains masking the east wing of the stage.

Lots of styled out fighting, spells, and musical accompaniments as well as mishaps later and the Darklings are well dead and turn to vapor.

Ekam notices that Joey, the clown  is standing at the back of the west wing of the stage next to the pulley system which controls the sandbags.

Without taking a pause or breath, Ekam charms Joey and persuades him to reveal all and confesses that he is behind the attacks. Joey is sick of being the side act and wants to be the boss. He made a pact with Xolus, a powerful flesh-eating fey, to sabotage the show in exchange for a magic item, and one of his eyes and limbs. The attackers were Xolus’s minions and more will arrive at any time to ruin the show.

The band inform Olar about Joey and the Queens guards are called to take him to jail.

Ekam exclaims no reward is necessary, as doing good is a reward in itself.

Hydrica picks his jaw up off the floor! Stunned into silence of a missed chance for reward.

Truth, Beauty, Freedom, Love

and now for something completely different

The band are taking a short rest post-rehearsal and have a chance to listen to more gossip.

Everybody Has a Story

At the bar, listening to gossip are Heironymo, Lemmog and Hydrica .

Mistyngael and Vio used to be sweet on each other. However, she is now courted by Horace Salabert, a partner at the firm.

Olar is concerned about their ability to bargain with the private equity firm.

Hydrica finds a medicine cabinet. Together with Lemmog they recognize common first aid kit items, and laxatives and sedatives amongst the medication inside the medicine cabinet.

Love Hurts

Vio is writing at a table in the Grand Theater.

Vio scribbles furiously in his journal at one of the tables. He tears pages, scrunches them into balls, and throws them over his shoulder. The balls of scrunched-up paper fly helter-skelter towards you, occasionally bouncing off the carpeted floor.

Some lie scattered around you, like spilled popcorn.

Sister goes over and picks up one of the crumpled balls of paper, unfolds it and reads it, learning that Vio has been writing about Mistyngale.

Vio writes that he loves her and wishes that he can buy her pearls and roses. Alas, he cannot because he is poor!

Another scrunched up piece of paper reveals that Vio is contemplating ending his life because he is in love with a woman who he believes is unlikely to return his love.

Sister tries to consul and council Vio and learns that they used to be together but now alas are not, to the point that Mistyngael is now cold and distant to Vio, which has left Vio heartbroken and saddened.

Down the Garden Path

Ekam and Immith Chargoba find themselves in a beautiful garden.

There are miniature rose bushes lining the pebbled path. Red, white, and yellow blooms peek out amidst dark green leaves and onyx thorns.

A little old woman, wizened and gnarly, is watering the roses, oblivious to your presence. She tenderly touches the leaves and strokes the petals, whispering high-pitched gibberish to the roses as if they were babies or pets.

Not far from the rose bushes is an herb and vegetable patch.

The ground is flat. Flower beds surround the lawn in rows of elegant symmetry.

On the lawn are little round tables and quaint chairs, with enough space for picnics and dancing.

It is a sunny day outside. Clear skies do not obscure the rays of light from the sun.

Ignoring the little old woman, Ekam and Immith Chargoba call up the Mafisto Twins and arrange for them to obtain some Arcane Fire merc and promote that Arcane fire will be in the theatre tonight.

The little old lady barely glances at them, even when the twins appear and disappear.

Come what may

Mistyngael is lounging on a stone bench and memorizing her script.

Mistyngael informs Ekam, that to sweeten the deal with the Salabert Brothers private equaty firm, she concedes to Horace Salabert's advances and has discouraged Vio from continuing to pursue her love.

Ekam is joined by the others from inside and before they can say anything declares that sacrificing the one for the many is a noble thing indeed.

Love is Sacrifice

Mistyngael then goes back inside and is seen having an intimate conversation with Vio. They reconcile and Vio comes to terms with Mistyngael’s sacrifice.

Yes, we can-can-can!

The band are back in the Grand Theater for rehearsals. Suddenly, three men in suits appear.

They are Horace and his colleagues from the private equity firm, Salabert Brothers.

Three sharp-dressed men march into the Grand Theater. They carry binders bulging with pages. They sit down at one of the tables close to the front, watching the rehearsal.

“It’s the investors! They must be here to talk business with Olar,” Lia, the singer next to Lemmog whispers.

The investors have arrived in the middle of a rehearsal of a love scene. Mistyngael is rehearsing the scene with Vio. They are dangerously close to kissing each other.

Ekam detects strong signs of jealousy and possibly hostile intent, from Horace, the leader of the investors.

Ekam casts silence around Horace and his rantings go unheard.

Lemmog moves up just outside the silence area and blocks the view of Horace.

Things very quickly now deescalate and Horace calms down, with Olar taking the investors into the back room so they can discuss the sale price and terms of sale.

Olar requests that someone bring refreshments from the bar as a matter of courtesy and hospitality.

Heironymo notices that a few pages have slipped out of the binders and have fallen to the floor behind the investors’ table. Between the band members they read the loose pages discover that these are from the sale contract: the investors want to purchase the Red Hollyphant at a lower price than the fair market value.

Ekam forges alterations to the loose pages.

Immith Chargoba causes a distraction when they enter with the refreshments.

Well he caused more of a distraction than anticipated, as they discovered one of the hidden words for the Wand of Vocal Wyrding.

A beam of light fires out and hits one of the investors. “biddaum” caused the spell harm to be revealed and fire.

Unfortunately that word almost killed one of the investors!

Now thats a distraction!

Ekam quickly acts and the investor is back up to normal health.

During this distraction Heironymo adds the missing pages back into the binder.

The band make their excuses and leave, exclaiming "there is something in the air tonight", knowing that Olar now has the upper hand in the negotiation.

The investors agree to fund the Red Hollyphant as silent partners and pay for security guards for opening night.

Olar thanks the band, but before he can offer any reward. Ekam declares that doing the right thing is all the reward required.

Here we are now, Entertain us!

Opening night beckons. After a short rest, the band return to the Grand Theatre and get on the stage for opening night.

So exciting! The audience will stomp and cheer!

The lights are dimmed, and the curtain is drawn.

The band step onto the stage with their Red Hollyphant colleagues and fall into formation.

The drums from the orchestra pit beat a strong primal rhythm, slow at first, Heironymo joins in on the beat and Ghostly forms start dancing around the stage and out over the patrons, to gasps.

The beat then quickly escalates as flutes and strings join in a chorus of atonal harmony that rush into a dissonant climax, and then stops.

There is a second of silence, followed by a piercing battle cry as the lights blink into life, and you are revealed. The crowd bursts into applause. The show begins.

The grand drapes are open. Props and groundrows depicting wild plains are placed at the back and along the sides of the 45-by-90-foot stage. There is ample space in the center of the stage for free movement.

The wings of the stage are hidden by curtains made of heavyweight velour. Tall, narrow drapes made of the same material frame the sides of the stage facing the audience.

There is a small orchestra pit in front of the stage.

Except for the center of the stage, everywhere else in the theatre is dark. The stage is brightly lit.

The band are extras in the opening act and must perform.

Choreographed fights, Spell theatrics, Live singing and playing - Arcane Fire are back

Two cabaret girls go round the outside
Round the outside, round the outside
Two cabaret girls go round the outside
Round the outside, round the outside
Woo! (uwu, uwu)

With that as the song continues the Wand of Vocal Wyrding lights up, but the spell fails to go off.

Guess who's back, back again?
Arcane Fire's back, tell a friend
Guess who's back? Guess who's back?
Guess who's back? Guess who's back?
Guess who's back? Guess who's back?
Guess who's back?

“biddaum” - harm

The Intermission

The grand drapes hide the stage from the rest of the theater.

There is a small orchestra pit in front of the stage. The cabaret-style dining area in front of the stage is populated with tables and chairs, providing ample space for premium ticket holders to stretch their legs and dine in comfort while watching the show.

There is bright light throughout the area. A crystal chandelier hangs overhead above the tables.

Four stagehands are moving the set pieces onto stage. All but two musicians have left the orchestra pit for a break. Ten guests are currently seated at the tables.

The show pauses for intermission.

The band now are no longer on the stage and are providing intermission entertainment as roving performers.

While the band are mingling Lemmog spots that a prankster has set the bar on fire. Lemmog rushes onto stage to fetch a fire bucket.

Meanwhile, Heironymo and Ekam hear a sending stone constantly vibrating on the table of one of the Salabert Brothers executive's, it seems they are getting messages every 10 seconds. Heironymo and Ekam manage to politely persuade the executive to step outside as the messages must be important, and that they can deal with them quickly and efficiently without the distraction inside.

Immith Chargoba spots a bored lady is sighing and checking the make-up on her face with a compact mirror, with a child behind her dangling a mouse from its tail behind her neck, as if intending to drop the mouse down her back, with a quick intimidating look the child backs off and accidently drops the mouse that scurries away.

Lemmog then leaps from the stage and douses the fire with the sand from the bucket.

Send in the Clowns

The band are back on stage with the performers for the next act.

The grand drapes are open. Props and groundrows simulating a waterfall in a forest are placed at the back and along the sides of the 45-by-90-foot stage. As with the opening act, there is ample space in the center of the stage for free movement. The wings of the stage are hidden by curtains made of heavyweight velour.

Tall, narrow drapes made of the same material frame the sides of the stage facing the audience. There is a small orchestra pit in front of the stage. The cabaret-style dining area front of the stage is populated with dining tables and chairs, providing ample space for premium ticket holders to stretch their legs.

The lights are dimmed in preparation for the next act. A crystal chandelier hangs overhead above the tables. It is dark behind the stage curtains.

Some guests are seated at their tables, dining or talking to each other. There are performers getting ready on stage. Stagehands are on standby by the wings of the stage.

Just before the start of the next act, three quicklings in clown garb rush in and attack from behind the curtain masking the east wing of the stage.

The band quickly find out these are Xolus’s minions who have disguised themselves as apprentice clowns.

With there speed and blurred movement they are hard to hit and fight, so Immith Chargoba as soon as he can grapples one so it is incapacitated.

Heironymo goes for stunning strikes

While Lemmog and Ekam set to obliterating those that are incapacitated.

The band do not come out of it unscathed, but they do manage to protect both the perfomers and the patrons, and also put on a show while doing it.

Baator is gone and Bytopia's here
There's nothing left for you to fear
Shake your arse come over here

Of everything I used to be
You're my rock of empathy
My dear

So come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain you

Life's too short for you to die
So grab yourself an alibi
Bytopia knows your mother lied
Mon cher
Separate your right from wrongs
Come and sing a different song
The kettle's on so don't be long
Mon cher

So come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain you

Look me up in the yellow pages
I will be your rock of ages
Your see through fads and your crazy phases, yeah
Little Bo Peep has lost his sheep
He popped a pill and fell asleep
The dew is wet but the grass is sweet my dear

Your mind gets burned wIth the habits you've learned
But we're the generation that's got to be heard
You're tired of your teachers and you school's a drag
You're not going to end up like your mum and dad

So come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you

He may be good, he may be outta sight
But he can't be here so come around tonight
Here is the place where the feeling grows
You gotta get high before you taste the lows
So come on

Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you (let me entertain you)
So come on, let me entertain you (let me entertain you)
Let me entertain you (let me entertain you)

Come on, come on, come on, come on
