Spandex or Leather - meet the gang

So far in Team Pilates (name came from the book one of em was reading on a train)

Christian aka Blowout

Is the level headed member of the team, the face of this B Team, main power - Disintegrate

Concept:
Determined Protector
Determined to Atone for losing previous teammates to death and/or capture. Now is determined to atone for his past by protecting all his current team mates.

Job: Estate Agent

Backstory:
Determined to Atone
Christian made a mistake once, something that’s haunted him for every day of his life since.

Christian used to be Blasé/carefree. Got his previous team members captured and killed. Now more determined and always think of my team to make up for my past mistakes.

Christian is going to make up for it, whether that is by getting rich or fighting crime!

Quirk:
Protector

Christian will do anything and everything to ensure his team returns alive – even to the point of risking his own life!

He will be the one who runs out and retrieves a fallen comrade, every time.

However, he will also be required to attempt to protect his team, even when it may not be wise – Christian cannot imagine returning without one of his allies, and will not abandon them.

Appearance:
On his days not being a Superhero you will find Christian dressed to impress in his tailor made suit, showing prospective buyers around houses. He has short blond hair and is immaculately combed to the right.

He has to mask his appearance when patrolling at night and wears a red mask that covers his eyes and wears black trainers, jeans and a hoodie, that he always keeps up to conceal the rest of his looks.

Chuck aka Bonedido (or BoneyM)

Is a psychotic brawler who likes nothing better than clawing at perps or thwacking em with his enormous boner

Chuck will do whatever he think's is right in a situation, judging by his own code of conduct. Chuck has no objection to violence against people he feels are immoral and spends little time worrying about whether his code is right or wrong – it’s the code to live by and that’s all that matters.

Bonedido’s code of conduct:
"Some say that every perp deserves a second chance. I agree, they have as long as it takes for me to get up in their face and protract my claws to plead their case.

The bad guys love to talk. Flapping those lips about what they’ve done or how much pain their gonna put you though. I’m through with that. What I say is “don’t stop clawing until the Perps stop jawing”.

Protect good people from those that would control, enslave, hurt or take advantage of them.

Always do the right thing.....for yourself. Survival is key, a good rep is over rated. Unless your protecting good people then I suppose you had better do the right thing by them.

If you get hit, get up, hit back and move forward. You keep doing that and sooner or later you’ll either end up dead or on top. Whatever happens, if you live life like that then they will never be able to accuse you of being a quitter."

Chuck has a complete lack of regard for his own safety. However, this behaviour in itself is moderately insane, so he often has to be persuaded by the team not to attack everything head-on.

While in combat chuck is totally focused on the combat, and no will in the world would change this.

But try and convince Chuck not to attack head-on and its as if he has no willpower to adhere to this, totally ignoring possible cover.

Always up for Daredevil stunts and seemingly suicide missions, basically he see himself as invincible.

Reece aka Renegado

A Telekinetic gambling arsehole, where life is cheap and there lives are cheaper than his.

A layabout/loser type person, nothing came freely to him

Reece will do whatever it takes to complete the mission, whether it is kidnapping, cold-blooded murder or mass destruction – there is no course of action which is not considered by Reece and carefully weighed to assess maximum advantage.

Anyone associated with supervillains as equally guilty.

Reece has been known to leave a civilian to their death in order to pursue a supervillain, so that they can stop their enemy from causing more harm to the general population.

Reece does not play by the rules, he cheats but has no luck.

Lynx

A new kid on the block, who has wormed his way into this empowered team, street graffiti artist, No fighting skills at the moment as is a joker not a fighter and a stealthy Chameleon Shapeshifter

Punk kid with vibrant hair. The hair changes like the wind but nobody ever sees him with hair dye!

Born in Ibadan, and growing up with the stories of the Empowered, that despite them being illegal, he wanted to be just like them.

For as long as he can remember, he dreamed of exactly this: becoming someone important, recognised, or someone with true power.

His Dream came true when the Fire Station Exploded and he somehow blended into the background unseen from those masked vigilantes that took out the mob in there!

Its a Dream Come True

Lynx views the manifestation of his Abilities as the best thing that ever happened to him, and he will never regret it. All Lynx really cares about is using his powers, justifying it to himself as helping people as a masked hero.

Everything is a game to Lynx – he never takes anything seriously, even when there are potentially life-threatening consequences.

Making bad puns in the middle of Combat or having a competition about who can take down the most supervillains!

People find him very annoying, but his lack of ability to take anything seriously means he is seldom afraid of anything.

All but Lynx want to hide their real identities, Lynx if he had a phone would tick toc all their exploits.

Gregor aka Svyaz

Gregor is a Telepathic Nexus, Powers include influencing and neutralising opponents through psychic influence. He can also transfer base powers between characters in his nexus group.

Gregor will do whatever it takes to complete your mission, whether it is kidnapping, cold-blooded murder or mass destruction – there is no course of action which is not considered by you and carefully weighed to assess maximum advantage.

Anyone associated with supervillains as equally guilty. Gregor will leave a civilian to their death in order to pursue a supervillain, so that they can stop their enemy from causing more harm to the general population.

Gregor will do anything and everything to ensure his team returns alive – even to the point of risking his own life!

He will be the one who runs out and retrieves a fallen comrade, every time.

Dot aka Mesmer

Dot wasn’t having much luck as a stand-up comedian, but since discovering her powers she’s worked her way to the point where she’s training to be a police negotiator. She’s almost never in a bad mood, and specialises in defusing situations.

Dot is all for the Ultimate Good, doing whatever is needed to ensure the greatest good for humanity is maintained, whether this is encouraging team members to complete the mission, or stabbing someone in the hand during combat training to teach them to defend more carefully.
Dot would her team to enter a trap and be injured before rescuing them from it, with the intent to teach them to look for traps more carefully.

Dot lacks basic skills, being unable to drive or unable to use a computer.
"Public transport is great in Ibadan and people are so friendly that they are always willing to help me, so why would I bother with driving and computers."

Dot is adapt at Persuasion and getting a good deal (Commercial)

No-know

Scrawny, very thin and scruffy. Looks like I’ve been living on the streets. No-know doesn’t wear a mask and is well known to everyone. He also has empowered ability of stretchiness, not only bending and stretching the rule of law but of physics and biology!

Job: Homeless

Backstory:

Guiltless

As far back as No-know can remember he grew up on the streets and has no recollection of his early childhood. He doesn’t know if he has any family and whilst he has been trying to get any information on his records (name, date of birth, etc.) he hasn’t been able to locate any information.

Growing up on the streets has taught No-know how hard life can be. From an early stage he was able to utilize his sharp mind and special skills to survive. That is the things that drives him the most which is to find out who he is has also involved being able to have information on what was happening on the streets. This has resulted in getting the ironic name No-know. No-know will share information to any one provided they’re paying! He has helped the police, criminals and the general public with information for a price...

He will generally avoid direct conflict although the rumors on the street is that anyone not paying up will face a terrible end to their life. Whether the rumor is true or not it has helped in convincing people to pay up.

No-know owns an old warehouse in the city’s run down sector. From the outside the building looks like it should not be standing but that is all for appearance sake and on the inside the building is modern with the latest technology and the best creature comforts. No-know has been able to hide that this is his home by no one ever having seen him leave or enter the building.

No-know does whatever he thinks is right in a situation, judging by his own code of conduct. No-know has no objection to violence against people he feels are immoral and spends little time worrying about whether his code is right or wrong – it’s the code he lives by and that’s all that matters.

Quirk:

Fearless

No-know has a complete lack of regard for his own safety. However, this behaviour in itself is moderately insane, so you often have to be persuaded by his team not to attack everything head-on.

No-know will pass any Willpower checks related to Combat automatically.

However, No-know is also required to take a Willpower Check at half Willpower to not attack enemies head-on when entering Combat, totally ignoring possible cover.

No-know basically see himself as invincible, throwing himself into things like a daredevil on a suicide mission.

Appearance:

Scrawny, very thin and scruffy. Looks like I’ve been living on the streets. No-know doesn’t wear a mask and is well known to everyone.

Fauna

Not much is know about Fauna, except well she can transform into animals.

Protector/Loyal

Fauna will do anything and everything to ensure her team returns alive – even to the point of risking her own life!
Fauna is one who runs out and retrieves a fallen comrade, every time.
Fauna is never required to take Willpower Checks to conduct actions which directly ensure your teammates’ survival, even if they endanger your own life.
Fauna receives bonuses in these situations: +5 Speed, +2 Survival and +4 Willpower. However, you will also be required to attempt to protect your team, even when it may not be wise – you cannot imagine returning without one of your allies, and will not abandon them. If a team member dies or is captured, you will receive a –1 modifier to Willpower for the remainder of the mission, which will stack with any other modifiers.

Hunter/Loner

Fauna is a hunter while in animal form and this can be quite off-putting for others.

Fauna does not work well with others:

Fauna has a +1 Threshold penalty to all Persuasion rolls.

Fauna has adapted to this by becoming a loner, learning to rely on herself instead of others, giving her +1 Willpower when away from her teammates
