Battle of the Bards - Merch

The band have settled on a name and come up with a logo as they enter Burts Shirts to order some merch

After a lot of haggling they manage to secure an overnight print run of "as many T-shirts in ANY size as you can, please", with also the promise of a song promoting Burts Shits to be played at the Battle!

ANY size being they are any size without the size marker - they are just T-Shirts printed on Black cloth with whatever sizes are in stock with the size tag ripped out.

Satisfied and many coin lighter they head out to find vendors who would set up stall near their stage attracting further crowds to the bands side.

1st stop is the pub, where Clody knows the owner Mae Veil.

Bardo again instantly offends her and is physically thrown out of the pub, where he performs an acrobatic landing and bluffs that "he meant to do that"

More coin is passed and they have secured a bar at the battle and agree to help cart the barrels to it on the day.

Then they find some street food vendors.

1st stop is the popcorn place, where Bardo tries this new flavour which is covered in orange/red powder

Bardo instantly goes red, barges through the crowd to the milk seller and throws large amounts of coin at the vendor then proceeds to down as much milk as he can.

Meanwhile the rest of the band are negotiating with the popcorn seller, with Clody even suggesting 1/4 of the flavour should be suffice for that new flavour

They then spot Dibbler who it looks like he is selling meat pies, but his sign just says
*eat Pies

Again parting with more coin they secure his services at the auditorium

Bardo creating a fake pass and lanyard for him.

Finally they head over to Vivian Eastwoods, a fashion designer to voo voo up their armour or provide some stage costumes for them.

With a hard negotiation, where Xlixi almost pissed himself with the stare they got, they agree to pay half up front and 650 gold when they pick up the costumes the next day.

They did all need to sign a contract,

With their real names, provide a blood fingerprint and leave a strand of hair or scale

But those fashion designers are a weird bunch.

Anyways, off they trot to bed happy that all the pieces are in motion now

Clody wrote the following songs

A song for Burt:

(Verse 1)

In a little corner of the town, where creativity is free,

There's a place where colors dance and dreams take flight, you see.

"Burt's Shirts," they call it, a haven for the bold,

Where a poster and t-shirt printing shop takes stories to be told.

(Chorus)

Oh, Burt's Shirts, where imagination unfurls,

Printing dreams on fabric and paper, for boys and for girls.

With ink and with passion, they craft magic anew,

Burt's Shirts, where every design comes to life, it's true.

(Verse 2)

From funky tees to banners grand, they bring visions to the light,

A symphony of colors, creativity in flight.

From slogans that inspire to art that tells a tale,

Burt's Shirts stitches memories, like setting sail.

(Chorus)

Oh, Burt's Shirts, where imagination unfurls,

Printing dreams on fabric and paper, for boys and for girls.

With ink and with passion, they craft magic anew,

Burt's Shirts, where every design comes to life, it's true.

(Bridge)

In a world that's ever-changing, they stand with pride,

Turning concepts into treasures, with ink spread far and wide.

From walls adorned with posters, to tees worn with glee,

Burt's Shirts, a kingdom of creativity.

(Verse 3)

So if you've got a vision, a story to declare,

Burt's Shirts will make it real, with love and artful flair.

They'll print your dreams on cotton, on paper strong and fine,

A testament to passion, in every vibrant line.

(Chorus)

Oh, Burt's Shirts, where imagination unfurls,

Printing dreams on fabric and paper, for boys and for girls.

With ink and with passion, they craft magic anew,

Burt's Shirts, where every design comes to life, it's true.

(Outro)

So here's to Burt's Shirts, where creativity takes flight,

A poster and t-shirt haven, making everything just right.

Ink-stained hands of artists, turning visions into gold,

Burt's Shirts, a place where stories are forever told.

A song for Mae Veil about the pub's new drink "Amber Rose" mead

(Verse)

Amber Rose, a drink divine,

A mead so sweet, like golden wine.

With earthy undertones that gently play,

In every sip, a dance of flavors sway.

(Chorus)

Oh, Amber Rose, in your hues so warm,

A nectar that delights, a true charm.

From honeyed whispers to nature's embrace,

You paint a symphony on my taste's grace.

(Verse)

Golden like the sun's last kiss,

You bring warmth to moments of bliss.

A mead that's crafted, a labor of care,

Amber Rose, in your essence rare.

(Chorus)

Oh, Amber Rose, in your hues so warm,

A nectar that delights, a true charm.

From honeyed whispers to nature's embrace,

You paint a symphony on my taste's grace.

(Bridge)

With each sip, a story unfolds,

Of ancient recipes and secrets untold.

Mellow sweetness, a touch of the earth,

Amber Rose, you're a treasure of worth.

(Verse)

A mead to savor, in the twilight's glow,

A taste of history, a journey to know.

From the first drop to the last refrain,

Amber Rose, you're a memory I'll retain.

(Chorus)

Oh, Amber Rose, in your hues so warm,

A nectar that delights, a true charm.

From honeyed whispers to nature's embrace,

You paint a symphony on my taste's grace.

(Outro)

Amber Rose, your name I'll keep,

In the cellar of my heart, a treasure to steep.

A mead drink so sweet, with earthy delight,

Amber Rose, you make my senses take flight.

Our only song that isn't promoting a brand:

(Verse 1)

In a coastal town where seagulls cry,

Two hearts entwined beneath the sky,

She was the pearl of the ocean's breeze,

He was a sailor on stormy seas.

(Chorus)

Oh, love as vast as the endless sea,

Bound them together, wild and free,

But the tempests came with a cruel cost,

Tore them apart, their love was lost.

(Verse 2)

Through crashing waves and salty spray,

He vowed to return, come what may,

Her silhouette on the rugged shore,

A beacon of hope forevermore.

(Chorus)

Oh, love as vast as the endless sea,

Bound them together, wild and free,

But the tempests came with a cruel cost,

Tore them apart, their love was lost.

(Verse 3)

Years rolled by like the tides that churn,

He faced each challenge, his heart did yearn,

For the day they'd meet, their souls to mend,

A love so true, it would never end.

(Chorus)

Oh, love as vast as the endless sea,

Bound them together, wild and free,

But the tempests came with a cruel cost,

Tore them apart, their love was lost.

(Verse 4)

Then one eve, 'neath the moon's soft glow,

A ship sailed in with its tales of woe,

He searched the faces that lined the bay,

But his love's sweet smile had faded away.

(Chorus)

Oh, love as vast as the endless sea,

Bound them together, wild and free,

In the currents of life, they were tossed,

Now apart they remain, their love was lost.

(Verse 5)

So raise a glass to the love they knew,

A tale of the sea, forever true,

Though they're apart, their spirits sail,

In the salty breeze, their love prevails.

(Chorus)

Oh, love as vast as the endless sea,

Bound them together, wild and free,

In the depths of the ocean, at any cost,

Their souls still entwined, though their lives are lost.

Signature song about  cooking over fire:

(Verse 1)

Gather 'round the flames, let's light up the night,

With the crackling fire, we're filled with delight,

A symphony of sizzles, a dance of the heat,

Cooking food over fire, what a savory treat.

(Chorus)

Oh, the flames they roar, the embers glow,

As the fragrant smoke begins to flow,

We're chefs of the fire, creating with glee,

A feast of flavors, for you and me.

(Verse 2)

On the skewer they spin, marinated and spiced,

Meat and veggies together enticed,

The flames lick the surface, the aroma takes flight,

As we tend to the fire on this starlit night.

(Chorus)

Oh, the flames they roar, the embers glow,

As the fragrant smoke begins to flow,

We're chefs of the fire, creating with glee,

A feast of flavors, for you and me.

(Verse 3)

Potatoes wrapped tight in foil embrace,

Roasting to perfection in the fire's embrace,

A sizzle, a pop, the foil starts to steam,

Nature's kitchen, where food and fire gleam.

(Chorus)

Oh, the flames they roar, the embers glow,

As the fragrant smoke begins to flow,

We're chefs of the fire, creating with glee,

A feast of flavors, for you and me.

(Verse 4)

Stories are told as marshmallows toast,

Gooey and golden, we love them the most,

A sweet finale to our fiery affair,

Underneath the stars, in the open air.

(Chorus)

Oh, the flames they roar, the embers glow,

As the fragrant smoke begins to flow,

We're chefs of the fire, creating with glee,

A feast of flavors, for you and me.

(Bridge)

So let's celebrate the fire's embrace,

The ancient art of cooking with grace,

A primal connection, from days of old,

Where food and fire create memories untold.

(Chorus)

Oh, the flames they roar, the embers glow,

As the fragrant smoke begins to flow,

We're chefs of the fire, creating with glee,

A feast of flavors, for you and me.

(Outro)

As the fire dims down and stars softly gleam,

We'll remember this night, like a cherished dream,

Cooking over the fire, a timeless desire,

A culinary symphony, fueled by the fire.Merch
