Spandex or Leather: Drunken steak outs and cracking balls

 Team arrive back to the warehouse shaken and stirred from the events at North Point.

Gregor calms Dot down and sends her off into a restful sleep.

The rest of the gang just crash out exhausted.

Saturday morning comes around, and the team are left with what to do with Alberto.....

After a bit of deliberation they blind fold  him, convince him to flee he city and with a bit of suggestion get on the first train out of the city.

When they released Albert and watching him walk off to the train station, the team spot the newspaper stand.....

Christian nips over and grabs a couple of papers

Bugger......

Christian is pissed off, to the point of almost heading over to the Newpapers headquarters.
Chuck and Reece brush it off.

Dot is an emotional wreck

A lot of how, what whys go through the team, then they realise that Master Mind and Mind Games Inc set them up and was playing mind games on them.

It seems the names they were calling each other on the attack at North Point were recorded, also the pictures are from different angles showing the teams faces as best they could.

The drones must have had cameras and sound!

Wow,  bugger, shit....

Dot in panic phones Captain Franks to explain the Newspaper, in doing so confirms what Captain Franks only suspected till then. Dot is empowered, Dot is with the other growing Empowered team (Christian, Reece and Chuck he already knew there real names from when they arrived in Ibidan).

Frank then uses this connection to find out where the team has got with brining in or bring him hard evidence of corruption of the 5 bent drug enforcement officers.

Pushing for results by Monday.

Christian digs out his notes....

So 5 Corrupt Drug Enforcement officers

  5. Dennis Patterson

All they know is they hang out when off duty in the local cop bar.

So at 5pm Christian, Reece and Dot head over to the cop bar, entering not together.

Christian had rigged up the button camera into his shoulder bag, so could "look" behind himself looking at his phone.

Reece and Dot played pool for a bit, till the at 6pm 3 of the 5 entered the pub and went to a booth.

About 30 min later the other two arrive and when they have ordered their drinks they seem to hunker down and chat quietly.

Over the course of the night, Christian moves from table to bar to fruit machine to try and listen, watch without being spotted.

Reece continues to play pool for beers, slowly getting more and more inebriated.

Dot then joins the 5 at their table blagging herself a seat (with a bit of help with a "suggestion"), buying them a few round of drinks.

After a few rounds of a drink, Reece even worse for ware ricocheted a pool ball off the table and across the bar at high speed, narrowly missing Dots head. Where it found the head of Albert Moxey with a resounding CRACK that could be heard across the Pub.

Albert looks shocked, a welt start forming on his head above his left eyebrow.

Reece come barreling over, trying to drunkenly apologise, but in his drunken stupor he is jabbing his finger at Albert's face shouting mumbled, slurred bollox in a loud and seemingly aggressive tone.

Dot hurriedly ushers Reece out of the pub, where he goes across the road to pick up a Burger King whopper meal and sits on the kerb to eat his drunken banquet.

Dot returns into the pub and sees that the Welt on Alberts head has got to the size of an egg, and Albert slumps onto Brians shoulder, where he pushes him off and Albert falls behind Auther.

Surprising the rest of the cops seem not to care, Dennis expressing that they will roll him out at the hospital later, fuck him.

As the drinks keep flowing Christian notices that although the 5 are not "showy" in riches, every bit of there clothing is very simple styled, but expensive brands.

Too much for a cops salary.

Christian starts replacing Dots drink with a watered down/non-alcoholic version to keep her from getting too drunk.

Dot and Christian notice that the rest of the team seem to differ to Dennis.

Brian also it seemed got kicked under the table as he drunkenly was about to blurt something.

Dot then "Suggests" a drinking game and challenges Dennis.

a Pint of Spirits downed as quick as possible.

Christian switches Dots shots for Water, cordial, beer where possible.

Dot almost wins, but remembers herself and allows Dennis to win.

From this point they find out they are indeed corrupt cops and seem to make money selling drugs confiscated, to the point of bragging they have sold the same batch 10 time before. Track and arrest the low and mid level dealers, so they can keep their arrest records high. If someone needs removing from the street, we will always find drugs on them.

With that the 4 drag unceremoniously Albert out of the pub and load him into one of their cars.

Dot implants a suggestion that Dennis meets her at the park when his wakes back up and sobers back up.

Sunday  hangover day....

Christian and Reece stake out the park.

Reece is pretending to be a tree all stealthy like.

Christian is jogging around the park, so he is in constant movement and can circle over if needed.

Dot arrives and sees that Dennis is already on the Park bench, and Dennis approaches Dot.

After a brief misstep by Dot and mistrust by Dennis, Dennis pats down Dot for hidden cameras. Which after Dennis says something Dot returns the favour.

With both convinced the other is not wearing a wire, Dennis says that Albert is out cold in the Hospital, so they are a man down.

They are looking for a big dealer to make a massive score, if Dot can help with this connection he will cut her in.

Dot promises she has some contacts and should be able to get something arranged soon, getting Dennis's number where she can contact him.

Dennis leaves the park, as soon as he is clear, Reece and Christian meet up with Dot.

Christian out of breath and throwing up from excessive jogging.


Time to plan a sting/exchange.......
