The team are stranded in the Cretaceous Period having just disintegrated the bomb trap laid for them by Master Mind, when a T-Rex comes crashing through the jungle.
Christian moves to protect his team from this huge beast, and almost gets bitten in two if not for his quick thinking at disintegrating himself to avoid the hit.
Chuck and Reece leap into action and twat the T-Rex, then out of the corner of their eye they see a bird swoop in and transform into a bear to attack the T-Rex!
To the south they saw a long winding river that the banks either side were teeming with life
But there was jungle and then long grass between the river and them. The closer they looked they saw that the long grass seemed to be the hunting patch for Raptors.
Meanwhile Chuck is looking under every rock, determined to find the hidden portal back to the real world, as well their must me one, as this not real, its like an escape room............
Heading back to the team, Reece and Fauna relayed the information, and No Knows declared that they needed to find shelter first, so off into the Jungle they trekked.
Reece Stumbled and ended up running down a slope to stop himself from falling down, and ran straight into a Cavern.
The Team tentatively explore the cavern and find that it goes quite deep into the hill side and narrows down.
The also found that this used to be a hibernation nest for some large beast, who thankfully was not here now!
While the team gather kinderling and wood for a fire, and also start a fire. Fauna Transforms into a Komodo Dragon Monitor Lizard and goes off hunting for food.
Fauna returns with Three Lamb sized rats. Chuck uses his claws to fillet the rats.
The team take it in turns to keep watch and keep the fire going, each reporting noise some eyes glowing back at them from the fire light, but nothing more.
Christian tries to make a cup from stones by disintegrating a bowl into them, after a few failed attempts he manages to make 1 cup!
No Know and Chuck go off to collect bamboo, and with some trial and error they make several long cups, and arrange them outside to hopefully collect water.
Day 2 in Camp Cretaceous
Water, we need Water cries out No Know.
Reece and Fauna fly off to towards the river to see if they can map a safe path to it, but they are almost spotted by a Pteranodon and so duck into the cover of the jungle where they spot a tributary that feeds the river, that emitted from under the ground via the banked slopes.
They follow this river by following the greener growth that is directly fed by the river.
Meanwhile...
Chuck is clearing the Cavern entrance and is going full Charlie Dimmock, wanting areas for vegetables, a while picket fence, etc
No Know is collecting more fire wood
Christian is trying and failing to make more cups.
Reece and Fauna arrive back and inform the team they have found an underground river, that comes close to this cavern.
Christian goes off with Fauna to investigate.
Reece goes off Hunting.
Christian disintegrates the ground and a geyser of brown water erupts from the created well.
The Gyser reaches about 4 ft high, Christian and Fauna go off to tell the team.
No Know with Chuck collect some of the large wider bamboo and use them as buckets to collect water.
As the Team arrive back at the geyser a Raptor steps out of hiding in front of them.
Chuck Charges it, and as he runs past another section of the scrub, another Raptor Appears.
Within Seconds, Chuck, Reece, No Know and Fauna are all battling the two Raptors, with Christian providing protection for each of them.
No sooner than they have killed these two, two more are spotted by No Know and Christian.
They are also quickly desptatched, but one is healed back up so that....
Well so according to Chuck "So I can train it to be a pet as it now knows were are the Alphas!"
The team create a system to filter and boil the water so it no longer looks brown, and pull in to the cavern the three Raptor carcasses so they now have meat and water.
They settle down for another night of watchful sleep and wake realising they do not feel as rested as they would normally do, a few realise that with this sort of rest we will not heal the same as before!
