It is an hour after sunrise when a man walks out of the forest near the town and calls out, “We were expecting payment, Skalintown! Looks like you’ve chosen to die with your pitiful town instead! We’ll give you one last chance to give us what we asked for . . . otherwise, well, it’s going to get bloody.”

The
man is an ordinary member of the bandits, clearly not a
leader, but he speaks with the confidence of a man with an
army behind him, even though none of the other members of
The Calamity have been spotted just yet.
Ron calls back to them, “Oh, it may be bloody, but it is
the blood of your kind that is going to be spilled on this day,”
and he fires a bolt into the man’s chest, killing him instantly.
Lemmog picks up one of the thugs and drops him into the pit from a great height, then chucks a bomb on him for good measure.
Lemmog, without thought or preamble, yanks out one of his own teeth, stifling a scream, and as a single tear rolls down his cheek, rams in the Tooth of Chaos.
Release the Hounds
As the man collapses to the ground in a quickly growing pool
of blood, another voice calls out from the nearby desert dune, “Let
the dogs tear them to pieces!” Howls and snarls begin to fill
the air and it takes only a few moments before the first of
them are bursting out of the horizon 150 feet away and start
charging at the town.
Four riderless Dire Wolfs and 3 Dire Wolfs with Riders come charging over the horizonAs they approach Bo casts "slow" on the riders and rides
Lakira Rain, The First Bandit Leader
Lakira Rain is the first of The Calamity's leaders.
She is covered in tattoos and is known as a master with a bow.
As the wolves approach the riderless ones are "stuck" in the hidden plant growth, which massivly slows them down.
The Captains on the wolves use this to there advantage and along with Lakira on her wolf they start leaping over the the backs of the other wolves and up onto the roof tops.
Lakira shoots the sheriff, hurting him, as her captains look to tear into him on the rooftop in melee
Lemmog then mounts his Griffon!! (where the hell did that appear from.... looks at notes... magic!) and starts a flying circus of hit and runs.
Meanwhile Bo, Ekham and Gribble fire off spells to assault the attackers.
Heironimyo does his superman/running man impression of "flying" or running on the air or I dont really know it all kinda blurs a bit and starts making your eyes twitch, to the Wolves and riders on the roof and Thunderwaves them off the roof - also sending the Sherriff backwards off of the tower roof onto the main roof (oopsies). This also had the added effect of ringing the watch bell almost deafening all those around.
During all of the fighting with the wolves, other bandits are shifting around outside the bounds of the town. As this fighting was going on and Gribble finished off the wolves stuck in the plant growth, the band and town were surprised that more invaders had snuck up to the town.
Bo and Heironimyo are first to recognise Lakira, and then target her for future attacks, killing her quickly before her song.
The Second Wave: Overwhelming Forces
The second wave hit with an entire army of foot soldiers
that swarmed after the initial attack of the wolves and wolf
riders.
From the North five Thugs trying to cross the Plant Growth
From the East six Dire Wolf and four Thugs trying to cross the Plant Growth
From the South three Thugs trying to cross the barracades
From the West five Thugs trying to cross the barracades
One of the townsfolk is shot off of a roof, emitting the classic Wilhelm scream.
Lemmog spots that one of the thugs in the East is Sal'kin Bloodfist and makes a beeline for him.
Sal'kin Bloodfist, The Second Bandit Leader
Sal'kin Bloodfist is the second of The Calamity leaders.
Sal'Kin is a brutish half-orc, far more powerful than the individual units of the scattered bandit groups. His body is covered in scars and there is a large chunk missing from his lower jaw. He uses a steel maul to crush through opponents as well as structures and is not afraid of making his own doorways into the homes of the townsfolk.
Ekam his firing off blasts East and West, trying to look like the mystical being shooting rays, meanwhile Heironimyo rings the bell again with a thunderwave and turns and brags to Ekham about his bell ringing skills.
Lemmog is surrounded by wolves as they claw and bit at him and his ride.
Sal'kin Bloodfist then smashes through one of the walls of the outter houses and enters the house.
The first of the attackers has entered the town!
The Southern attackers make their way over the barricades and enter the town making a run for the center where they can regroup.
Bo flys over and makes a knee popping superhero landing sending a puff of glitter shockwave out hurting several wolves, thugs and taking out Sal'kin.
In the north one Thug becomes mist as he treads on a mine, one of the wolf riders runs into a pit, and a townsfolk throws a bomb on him.
Gribble shatters the remaining northern thugs.
The Final Wave: The Elite Force
Voln Elstrum comes charging in through the main entrance of the town, sending his dire wolves Snarl and Howl to engage the enemy ahead of him.
They all pounce on Heironimyo; he spits venom about how this should have been easy, that his leaders should have handled this.
He looks about the town to see who he can capture as a hostage, but the townsfolk are either on the rooftops in buildings or in the mines.
Heironimyo then emitted a noxious cloud and escaped from their clutches, but spots that his wound is not sealing as he is still bleeding out from it.
Gribble then cast confusion on the cloud, and Ekam ran his bell, so that even if they did manage to bypass the noxious cloud, they may then not be able to move due to confusion, and if they could, they had negative effects to their attacks!
Bos Familiar Owlbear takes out the southern thugs.
Lemmog every the calm, rational one who will negotiate like the king he is, flies in picks up one of the bombs and drops it into the stinking cloud, killing the wolves that were in it.
At this Voln surrenders.
The Sheriff takes him into custody.
Voln is a wanted
criminal and is responsible for many deaths that typically
calls for a public execution in front of the family members of
those he has wronged.
Aftermath
At the end of the battle, the band have defeated over 30
total bandits - quite the feat.
Ron runs over to the band,
swinging his crossbow high overhead in joy. "We did it! We
got 'em all!" he shouts, and the citizens that remained in the
town to help fight all join in the celebrations as they flood into
the street.
One of the townsfolk goes running off to the mines to
gather the women and children, and before long the town is
overflowing with people once again. There is joy in the air, and dozens of bottles of various alcohols have already been
opened (and many of them emptied). They celebrate the lives
of those who died rather than mourn them, as is traditional in
Skalintown.
The Band as a whole receive a total of 5150 gold from the Mayor, the 5000 for the job and a bonus of 150 for saving the children.
Searching the dead thugs, they find 1100 gold a mix of weapons and bows
Searching the dead thugs, they find 1100 gold a mix of weapons and bows
Searching Sal'kin Bloodfist, they find a Tooth (which Ekam identifies as, Tooth of Chaos - Also known as the Slaad’s Last Word) and a Maul
Searching Lakira Rain revealed Studded leather, Shortsword, Longbow and three needles (which Ekam identifies as Wolf tattoo, Mark of the Archer (or Crossbowman) and Hawk Lock Tattoo), there are now a lot of patches of clear skin where tattoos were.
Voln Elstrum when disarmed he had Splint mail, Shield, Longsword and Handaxe

Tooth of Chaos - Also known as the Slaad’s Last Word.
Wondrous Item, Rare.
Origins: A bizarre orc with a strange sense of humour. This silvery tooth looks oddly large, as if it comes from a humanoid skull yet it barely fits the jaw of an average humanoid. Legends tell of an oddball orc fighter who, having just defeated a grey Slaad, lost all his teeth and was in need of magical healing. Thinking that consuming the enemy will grant him the gift of regeneration, he jammed its teeth into his jaw, creating a very odd magical item in the process. Nowadays it can often be found in mages’ labs, as they are the ones who come across these creatures the most often.
Special. Attunement to this item can only be achieved by replacing one of the user’s teeth with the wondrous item forever, by forcefully removing it and then jamming it in there. Once integrated, the item can be used without expending attunement slots. The item can then only be removed with the use of a wish spell or other powerful magic. Death also makes the tooth go loose, making its users attractive to bandits and cutthroats. The Tooth of Chaos has three charges and it regains all of them daily at sunrise. Using your bonus action, you may activate it, causing one of the following effects of your choice:
However, whenever you activate this item you must roll on the Wild Magic table (page 104, PH), as the item’s chaotic nature is revealed.
Choose Effects
1) You immediately regain 3d8+4 Hit Points, as the healing powers of the Slaad surge through your veins.
2) You cast fear (DC 13), as the roar of a frenzied Grey Slaad escapes your throat.
3) You gain resistance to acid, cold, fire, lighting and thunder until the beginning of your next turn, as your skins turns grey and rough.
Lemmog, without thought or preamble, yanks out one of his own teeth, stifling a scream, and as a single tear rolls down his cheek, rams in the Tooth of Chaos.
Welcome back chaos Lemmog, now will the wild magic Lemmog be better or worse than the bezerking Lemmog???
The tattoo needles have not been divvied up yet.
