Hitman - Target 3 - so the plan is... we have no plan

So recapping the plan

  1. after ship docks and crew arrives on shore, knock out the crew/get them locked up for brawling, then take there spot on the ship
    • Sort of completed in the way the B(ullshiter)-Team does
  2. poison remaining crew
  3. kill Marcy Ballantyre
  4. drive ship to a port
  5. collect reward and get home for tea n biscuits

So Step 2 poison the remaining Crew

With the Ship heading from the UK to Amsterdam, Maria takes over the ship piloting.

Most of the Journey is on Auto pilot and she only needed to disengage the auto pilot a few times to navigate around some floating debris.

On arriving near Amsterdam, Maria calls for Delia to take over the ship piloting.

Delia skillfully maneuvers the ship a full speed into the fueling dock and slams the ship into reverse, while pulling the rudders to the port, sending the the ship into a "drift" to parallel park.

Re-Fueling takes about 1 hr and everyone stays on-board as its only 7am.

While refueling rubbish is taken off board and some fresh food is loaded on.

By 8:05 am they are heading out of Amsterdam, on a 5 day voyage to Stockholm.

5 days to kill Marcy Ballantyre

Tiera in the Crew cabin passes Valentina half her remaining Heroin stash, and takes the rest with her to help Chef Diego Cherro prepare breakfast in the Kitchen, leaving her sniper rifle stashed in its case in her room.

El Puncho is down in the Engine Room with Engineer Sergie Georgiy.

Maria and Delia are up on the Bridge.

Valentina heads up to the Bar on the Upper Deck to prepare the morning drinks, leaving her sniper rifle stashed in its case in her room.

Poison the .. wait what?

Valentina tries to stealthy open the pouch of heroin to mix into all the drinks, but has a bit of a start and panic as Manuel Bourcier startles her, ending with her accidentally pouring the whole stash down the sink with a tap running!

Bollox Plan A gone literally down the drain!

Tiera helping the Chef spots one of the omelets looks better presented than the others.

Tiera scoops up two of the omelets to bring out, and carefully with poise and dexterity opens one of the omelets and pours her stash into a single omelet. This omelet should be Marcy's omelet its the best one.

Manuel Bourcier takes the drinks from Valentina on a tray and heads down to the dinning area.

Tiera heads out of the Kitchen into the dinning area.

The three securty personnel are in the dinning area, with Manuel handing out the coffiee to Romeo Sperandio and and himself, leaving Adris Landmanis coffee and Marcy Ballantyre's coffee and Bloody Mary on the tray.

Adris Landmanis takes both plates from Tiera, loads them onto the tray and heads to the Owners Quarters with both plates.

Leaving Tiera in the room with Romeo Sperandio and Manuel Bourcier.

After getting their two omelets, a thunk can be heard from the Owners Quarters.

Did Plan B work?

Marcy Ballantyre burst from the quarters into the room, with a face of thunder.

Bollox Plan B did not work, was there a Plan C?

Romeo reacts first and braces himself on his seat, Manuel and Tiera are not so quick...

With a grimace and a flick of her hand the gravity of the room flips, slamming Tiera and Manuel into the ceiling!

Delina sets the ship on auto pilot and starts heading down to the crew quarters to retrieve peoples guns!

I think we maybe in an improved Plan C!

Yep not only does it look like Marcy was not poisoned, but the team triggered the trap without their guns to hand or stashed close by, and with the team spread across the ship!

Maria creeps down from the Bridge into the Owners Quarters and sees Adris Landmanis sprawled on the floor with blood around his lips.

El Puncho hearing Tiera's distress heads up from the Engine room.

Valentina whips down the stairwell into the dining room, and manages to dexterously flip onto the ceiling and get partway through the room, before she is tagged by a shot from Romeo, knocking down immediately as she starts to bleed out in-front of everybody.

El Puncho punches through the wall between the corridor and the dinning room.

Just as Maria shoots Marcy with two rounds from her 9mm guns, but even though the shots were on target they barely scratch her, but do distract her enough that the concentration to reverse the gravity ceases.

The gravity returns to normal, sending Manuel, Tiera and Valentina crashing back down to the floor.

Marcy then forms a sword out of thin air and tries to strike Teria with it, causing her some damage.

Tiera shoots Manuel with a 9mm killing him instantly, just as El Puncho storms into the room and grapples with Romeo forcing him to drop his gun.

In the exchange of punches El Puncho is knocked out.

Delia whips around the corner and fires a precise shot at Marcy causing her more damage, and again shaking her concentration on the force sword.

Maria tries shooting her again with a single gun this time, but again barely scratches her.

Marcy forms anther Force Sword and attacks Maria, causing her lots of pain but no real damage.

Tiera took this exchange to build her rifle up, and took and extreme short range shot for a sniper rifle against Marcy Killing her instantly!

Romero then launched himself at Tiera, but barely done any damage as he needed to dive over not only the table, but the bodies of Valentina, El Puncho and Manuel to get to Tiera.

Delia replied by shooting Romero point blank in the face killing him instantly.

Maria then rushed into the room to heal Valentina and stop her from bleeding out and dying.
Delina applied a medipack to El Puncho and halted him from Bleeding out.

So yep that was Step 3 of the plan achived, Marcy Ballantyre was indeed dead.

But holy fuck what was Marcy Ballantyre, and her security packed a far bigger punch than they expected!

After disposing of the bodies of the Security and Marcy overboard unceremoniously just flinging them into the Baltic Sea while they were heading north.

El Puncho Intimidates the Engineer Sergie Georgiy to walk the plank and dive into the Baltic sea.

On seeing this Chef Diego Cherro runs back to the kitchen, grabs his precious knives and then runs back to the other side of ship and dives clutching his Chef knives to him into the freezing Baltic Sea.

When the team radio back to the guild that the mission was a success, they get informed:

You crossed the wrong family.

The Abatangelos have been operating since before the Great War.

Each generation passes down their knowledge to the following one to prepare them for their day in the limelight, an unbroken chain of fathers and sons stretching back through the centuries.

This is a chain that one of your team broke with a bullet three years ago.

It has taken the Abatangelos most of the intervening time to track you down but they are ready for vengeance and they will not stop until they get it.

It doesn’t matter to them that you were paid for the job, it doesn’t matter who paid you. 

All they care about is that you pulled the trigger or are working with the one that did.

Hence why they hired a trained assassin Marcy Ballantyre and her team of ex special forces "Security"; Adris Landmanis, Manuel Bourcier and Romeo Sperandio.

It seems you sprung your trap on them, before they triggered their trap on you.

Did non of you find it odd how easy it was to replace the crew of the ship.......

Anyway Mission 4: the Abatangelos

Intel

The Abatangelo compound lies in the foothills of a large mountain.

While it is not particularly isolated, the police know better than to respond to reports of gunfire – the Abatangelos are known to be more than capable of taking care of themselves.

There are very few occasions that the entire family comes together, but the wedding of the late Don’s daughter is one of them.

For a solid twelve hours, the entire Family will be present and engaged in festivities.

They are aware that their attempt on your lives failed but are not aware of how quickly you were able to backtrack their correspondence.

After the wedding, the key members of the family will be scattering to safe houses across the world until your team’s deaths can be confirmed.

The outer walls of the compound are manned by a rotation of well-armed guards.

The party is taking place in the villa’s courtyards and spilling into the ground floor reception rooms.

The guests at the wedding are forbidden from carrying arms, but all of the serving staff are armed with at least some weaponry, and many more violent associates that usually wouldn’t be invited have been brought in as an added security measure.

The team will not be able to be hired as staff for the wedding, due to the high levels of security, but acquiring an invitation as a guest will be possible – it is a large family with many friends and legitimate business associates, after all.

Taking the place of a member of staff once inside the event is much simpler, if that is the route you intend to take.





To end the attempts on your lives the only option is to eliminate all of the key players in the Abatangelo Crime family.

The matriarch of the family, Maria, is the one who ordered the team’s assassination but she would not have been able to move forward without support from the Don-In-Waiting, her son, Piero.

Should those two be eliminated, leadership and the burden of vengeance will pass sideways to her nephew Fillipo, who is the final member of the immediate family who is involved in the running of their illegal businesses.

Anyone else who attains leadership will likely be too busy benefiting from the event to care about the reasons.

Should all three of them be removed, the rest of the family should be too focused on getting their business back in order and securing themselves against rival criminal enterprises to pursue the team.

Off to Riga we go

The team head off to Riga in the ship, taking a few days to arrive while Maria goes about healing up the team.

When they arrive they restock and buy equipment, ready to plan their assault on a wedding!
